Juego suicida de la “ballena azul” ya está en Sudamérica


El juego comenzó en Rusia en 2015. Las cifras de suicidios adolescentes, desde entonces, comenzaron a crecer. Las autoridades relacionaron el incremento con la explosión de "La ballena azul", un juego macabro que se viralizó a través de Vkontakte (VK) -el Facebook ruso- y al que le atribuyen más de 130 muertes.

El reto de la ballena azul le debe su nombre a una característica muy particular de la especie marina, que por voluntad propia se acerca a las costas para morir. En los grupos de la red social rusa, los administradores proponen distintas pruebas ingenuas como ver sin interrupciones más de 24 horas de películas de terror, pero que suben de tono hasta volverse tétricas y preocupantes, como los juegos de autolesión: el "dibujo" de una ballena con un cuchillo y distintos retos que llevan al colapso psicológico. La prueba final, después de 50 días, es suicidarse.
Hasta entonces, se creía que el reto correspondía solo a Rusia, que no había traspasado la frontera. Sin embargo, en los últimos días se registraron algunos casos que se vincularon con "La ballena azul" en Brasil. Los primeros sucedieron al noreste, en el estado Paraíba, donde se cree que dos jóvenes murieron mientras participaban en una de las pruebas.
